Between the vineyards of Faugères and St-Chinian, the stage progresses along the hamlets from Cabrerolles to Roquebrun, parallel to the ancient Roman road linking Béziers to Cahors. From Aigues-Vives, green, natural and wild, to Laurenque, a typical reproduction of a Cevennes village perched at the bottom of a valley, the landscapes keep changing. Demanding climbs and technical descents follow one another to discover the massifs of Caroux and Espinouse. The descent to Roquebrun, the "Little Nice" of the Hérault, offers an exceptional climate in the middle of mimosas and the banks of the Orb, a guarantee of a fresh resource.
