The International Meal is Back!
The City is pleased to announce the return of the traditional international meal in La Chapelle, a friendly gathering that has always been a big hit with residents.
Originally created by the Demain Saint-Génis association and its president, Bernard Parent, this event has become, over the years, a particularly cherished occasion, celebrating the diversity of cultures.
To keep this wonderful tradition alive, the municipality decided to take over the organization of this event. We are very happy to be able to breathe new life into it and to revive this gathering that has been such an important part of our community’s life.
The concept is simple: Everyone is invited to bring a dish that reflects their heritage, a family tradition, or simply an international specialty they particularly enjoy. The goal is to bring together recipes from different backgrounds around the same table and to share our cultures through food.
This meal will be an opportunity to discover new flavors, exchange recipes, and take our taste buds on a journey through various cultures, all in a warm, festive, and friendly atmosphere.
We hope to see many of you at this year’s event and make this international meal another great success.
Musical entertainment and complimentary aperitifs provided by the municipality.
In case of rain, the event will be held at the Jean Moulin Hall.
