Friday, September 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.:
Guided tour in Faugères, exploring the stone buildings and mills, led by Sarah Collado, a tour guide and lecturer.
The tour takes you from the village to the mills and then back to Faugères, connecting the village’s history, dry-stone construction, the mills, and their surrounding environment.
Itinerary:
Departure from Place Sardinoux (parking available).
Stroll through the medieval streets of Faugères: medieval and Protestant history, houses and porches, the church and temples.
Ascent to the mills via the Chemin des Muletiers.
Presentation on the history and use of the mills, with an interpretation of the landscape.
Descent back to the village via the Chemin de la Marbrière to explore dry-stone construction and the capitelles.
Return to the village and the cars.
The tour will cover rural daily life, the use of local resources, the construction and use of mills and dry-stone structures, as well as pastoralism in the 18th and 19th centuries and the arrival of viticulture.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Exhibition of various bells and cowbells from the Hérépian Museum
10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Photo exhibition on transhumance and cowbells by Michel Salles
5 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Star Festival
From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Sun observation and workshops for children: telescope observation, astronomical explanations with models, exhibition on the solar system, astronomy quiz, planet hunt…
%C0 Starting at 7:00 PM: On-site dining with food trucks and wine producers. Musical entertainment with Black’n White starting at 7:30 PM.
%C0As night falls, ASAT astronomers will guide you on a journey of discovery through the stars, planets, and mysteries of the sky.

Sunday, September 20
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Exhibition of various bells and cowbells from the Hérépian Museum
10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Photo exhibition on transhumance and cowbells by Michel Salles
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Tasting of Faugères wines hosted by Mas Olivier
3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Workshop on making paper cowbells and small paper windmills

Throughout the European Heritage Days, starting at 10:00 a.m., visitors will also be able to freely tour the mills.
