Bernard Figueroa’s latest sculptures seem to have gotten together. They are two-sided—and even more than that. They are certainly figures, and yet
something else we can’t quite put our finger on. One might say they’re always doing two things at once. They’re in motion yet firmly anchored
on heavy bases with exaggerated, massive curves.
