At L’Intant at 5:30 p.m.: Marie LACOMBE “FACE AU VENT.” Marie Aude Lacombe has a voice that opens up and sensitively explores the contours of intimacy. A delicate, unpretentious voice that expresses her desires, her joys, her sorrows, and her remedies.
Her songwriting is finely crafted and personal, juggling words, playing with language, and evoking images, poetry, and—at times—humor. Accompanying herself on guitar, she is joined here by jazz musicians Olivier Caillard on piano and Jean Pierre Almy on double bass.
Original compositions with varied nuances, blending jazz and French chanson. A sensitive and joyful musical journey!
