Le village de Roujan déjà cité au IXe siècle sous le nom de Rogani (terre rouge) fut occupé dès le néolithique (sépultures) puis à l’époque romaine (habitats et temples). Organisé en circulade autour d’un noyau d’origine médiéval, trois des quatre portes encore visibles témoignent de son passé. Un circuit pédestre illustré « Les Portes du Temps » vous invite à découvrir ce patrimoine historique. Roujan héberge sur son territoire le célèbre Château-Abbaye de Cassan à 2 km du centre-ville ... à découvrir absolument
