IGP Côtes de Thongue

Men's History

The Côtes de Thongue vineyards are characterised by the succession of small hills that punctuate the area, giving it a character all its own. 23 communes located in the Faugère/Pézenas/Béziers triangle make up this PGI. The area boasts a rich built heritage, with many 19th-century châteaux dating from the Pinard era. The Côtes de Thongue winegrowers are pioneers in the field of biodiversity. With the support of the IGP federation and the Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels du Languedoc-Roussillon, they have introduced a new tool based on recent technological developments. The red wines are fruity and supple or full-bodied and spicy, depending on the vinification conditions. The white and rosé wines are balanced on the fruit and elegance.
